The Jewels Of Italy Tour

Welcome to the trip of a lifetime, as we explore the best of Italy from Rome to Sicily. Our adventure begins on June 26 with United Flt 964, departing EWR at 5:10 PM and arriving in Rome Fiumicino at 10:55 AM on June 27. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our team and escorted to our hotel via private coach. Our accommodations for the first few nights will be at the luxurious Hotel Roma Imperiale or a similar 4-star hotel in the famous Via Veneto district.

On the first day, take some time to explore the famed Spanish Steps, the magnificent stores of Via Veneto, and the Trevi Fountain. Remember to throw your three coins into the Trevi Fountain over your left shoulder with your right hand. The next day, June 28, after breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel with an English-speaking local guide. After lunch, we will tour the Colosseum and Roman Ruins, all entrance fees and headsets included.

The next day, June 29, after breakfast, we will be picked up for transfer to Sorrento, where we will check into the Hotel Michelangelo on Corso Italia, just a few minutes walk to Sorrento's main square, Piazza Tasso, and the Port. Take some time to explore the famed piazzas and alleyways of this storied city. On June 30, you can either explore Sorrento or take a short ferry ride to the islands of Capri or Ischia.

On July 1, you will be met by a guide in the hotel lobby for the short walk to the port of Sorrento, where we will board private boats for the Island of Capri. We will tour the Amalfi coast by the sea with time for swimming and a chance to visit the famed Grotta Azzurra (tide permitting). We will spend a full afternoon exploring the island of Capri and stop for photos of the picturesque inlets. After a full day, we will board the boat and head back to Sorrento.

On July 2, we will depart from Naples Capodichino airport at 11:10 AM and arrive in Catania Sicily at 13:05 PM. Upon arrival, a driver will greet you and transfer you via private coach to the Atahotel Naxos Beach, where you will stay from July 2-4. Breakfast and a large, multi-course Sicilian late lunch are included daily, and the hotel has many activities for the daytime, including pools and the beach. Once the heat of the Sicilian sun begins to set, we will head to explore the famed city of Taormina, "The emerald of Sicily," with its ancient Greek theaters, medieval architecture, winding staircases, famed piazzas, and the best gelato and arancini in all of Italy.

On July 5, we will take a private transfer to Catania Fontanarossa airport at 8 AM, where we will board RyanAir FR1075 at 13:15. We will arrive in Rome and connect with ITA airlines AZ0608, which departs Rome Fiumicino airport at 12:25 PM and arrives at JFK at 2:00 PM (same day).
